The horse farm has been revamped! We can now breed horses, upgrade our stable, and train past level 10. Full, in depth, long winded explanation at this link. There was also a hint towards a new winter event coming our way! If you check your inventory, next to the golden horse shoes there are rune stones, which say they are from a “Viking Farm”. Also, if you look in your farm management folder, where our tropical fruit is stored, you’ll see four new berry varieties. No concrete details yet, but it should be an interesting development when it comes!

There’s a new update for the Island Farm coming our way, check out the full details here. I think that means it’s pretty safe to assume we’ll be seeing the Island Farm again in our near future, so try to save some farm dollars if you’re going to participate this time around 🙂

Get ready for some missions! The new Co-op Challenge will be starting tomorrow, November 6th 🙂 We’ll collect reputation points from missions and these points will go into a common fund, which will allow us to collect rewards for everyone in the co-op. Full details at this link.

I guess we’ve all had a chance to work on our horses this week, but in case you’re still not sure what this update is all about, here’s the link to the forum’s update thread. It gives full details of how the horse farm runs, what to do with your horse, and hints about what will be coming next 🙂

 

The Island Farm will be a bit different the next time around, full details found here. This update will take place September 22nd, and although they don’t say explicitly when the next Island Farm event will happen, I think it’s safe to say it will be in our near future.

   

This Wednesday we’ll see a few updates for our co-op. First, they’ve changed how we mark ourselves as looking for members. We will be able to allow open membership, which lets any player add themselves to our group if they’d like. Secondly, we’ll be able to complete Gourmet Farm co-op projects and there will be gourmet farm collectibles as well. Then there are a few other small updates as well. The Island farm will be here July 31, full details on the forums here. The bare basics are you need to be level 30 to participate, it will require “a minimal amount of certificates” to unlock, and will be active for 30 days only.

Has everyone been keeping updated on the forums and the Big Farm Facebook page? We’ll soon be getting a temporary farm, which will be accessed through the airport in our farm environment.
